Recently a few publications came out featuring some of my underwater photography. Hakai Magazine featured a photo essay of mine, with images of animals which live in or on the sand underwater. The essay is here. You’ll see pictures of lizard fish, stargazers, flamboyant cuttlefish, and sand divers. Having spend a lot of time in Dauin, Negros, Philippines, I have quite a collection of sand-living animals by now, and this essay is a best-of of this collection. I’m stoked about it. The folks at Hakai mag are also great to work with, and really interested in solid popular science journalism.
And a French publisher came out with a marine life guide about the Indo-Pacific, well-done, with nice images, and animal names in several European languages. Check it out here.
