Plans for 2014

1. Dive dive dive dive dive dive dive dive dive dive dive dive dive dive dive dive dive dive dive dive dive dive dive dive dive dive dive.

2. While diving, there are a few marine animals in Sydney which I would love to see, and still haven’t: the Sydney harbor pygmy seahorse, and the red indianfish. During my planned trip to Adelaide in February, I’d love to see a leafy seadragon. Volunteer spotters will be rewarded with beers or ice-cream!

3. I’m hoping for another successful Photoganza in hopefully by then completely rebuilt Malapascua, plus some deep dives there with a successful capture of a specimen of the new goby species I found 2 years ago:

An undescribed goby of the genus Trimma, which I found at 60 m in the Philippines. I’d like to capture one and send it to a goby expert for description.

4. Since that will not put me in the ocean, enough, I am hoping to compete in the Coogee 2.4k ocean-swim in April, with a time which does not completely suck. More training partners are very welcome!
