Pinterest and Shorts
As much as I enjoy teaching, I also enjoy the university semester and the extra free time, a lot of which I spend underwater. And, fortunately the diving conditions have been nice, and I have been able to get good footage and a number of good shots. The Olympus TG6 does well for photographs and very well for video. This black coral goby, Bryaninops tigris, wasn’t easy to catch:
Shorts
YouTube just came out with their “Shorts” format, which seems to be their answer to TicToc. I had a few videos on the shelf which fit the format well, especially some time-lapses which I had recorded over the last month and which didn’t fit well with my usual underwater footage. Take a look:
And, I have started using Pinterest more. It seems like an useful too for assembling albums of images with a common topics, and spreading the word about underwater photography. Check out these interesting nudibranchs, both from my collection as well as some curious ones I found on Pinterest:
