A Reptilian Family Tragedy
In the lovely apartment I lived in Bolinao, a tragic tragedy of crassly tragic proportion happened.
Two geckos fell in my beer cooler box which I use as a camera underwater housing case; they fell in love, and the female laid some eggs.
But then they didn’t manage to get out of the case, and one of them, male or female, I am not sure, died and began to mold. The spouse had to watch all of that. When I found them a week later one gecko didn’t look so happy (I helped it out of the case) and the other one was really moldy (and dead).
The eggs were still in the case, not hatched. Family life was not meant to be for these geckos.
