Another Escaping Goby
I filmed a shrimp goby escaping; this time the species was Amblyeleotris gymnocephala. I hadn’t filmed this rather rare species showing this behavior before. Always satisfying to get footage like this. A lot has to come together, a dive where I encounter the fish, a decent approach to the fish, having the right camera settings in place quickly enough and the framing of the scene.
