Best of Pacificklaus, Part 2
I have been writing this blog since late 2012, for 6 1/2 years, on a variety of topics ranging from scuba diving, underwater photography, travel through Southeast Asia and random stuff which came to my mind! I recently checked Google Analytics to see which blog posts where the most popular ones. It’s an interesting mix between travel writing, scuba diving physiology, parodies and some completely out-of-the-box stuff.
Number 7: Filipino English
A recent post, on the peculiarities of the English spoken in the Philippine islands. I love the accent here, and the funny tweaks to the standard English vocabulary.

A guest post by my Japan-based mate Jeremy Deschner, scuba instructor and martial arts expert. Remember these fight scenes underwater in those early James Bond movies? How realistic are they?

In 2018 I attended the Asia Pacific Coral Reef Symposium, a nice conference with lots of interesting marine biological contributions.
