Commerce with the Devil Fish
Inimicus didactylus, Spiny Devilfish, taking a walk in Dauin, Negros Island, Philippines. This is a rare, and unusual fish. Very un-fish-like, it prefers to walk and not to swim. It’s dorsal fin spines, like those of most scorpionfishes, are venomous. It likes to dig itself into the sand, with only those dorsal fin spines sticking out.
Filmed with an Olympus E-M1, with a 17-42 mm lens, a 1200 lumen Sola video light and a Inon bug-eye wet-lens. VSDC Free Video Editor for editing. Music by Ministry. If Al Jourgensen sees this – Al, I bought tickets to several of your concerts (they were all great!), I hope it’s ok to use your music here, it’s perfect for this clip.
