What’s new ….. a few things!

I am reunited with my darling! I got my camera housing back from service by Hugyfot in Europe today. How nice. I’ll be able to shoot an SLR underwater again this weekend.

In the meantime, I played a bit with the Intova HD pocket-size underwater video camera, I’ll put some of the footage online soon. I caught soem dusky whaler sharks with it!

And, I got some of my popular science writing published, both in Scientific American Mind, about cameras & eyes, and in The Conversation, about consciousness and the brain. Enjoy!

And, spots are still available for the Evolution Photoganza, a top underwater photo and marine biology event this September in the Philippines, and for my Shark Conservation specialty class in Sydney, starting July 27th.
