Scuba Insights You Only Get Here

Over the last years I wrote a few blog posts on scuba diving which contain information you will not be able to get in the course manuals of scuba certification agencies or on the pages of scuba diving magazines, online or in print. Either the topic is too impolite/rude for these outlets: puking under water? Not covered in your beginner course, even though doing this right, or not, can be a diving safety issue. I’m not (just) being funny here. Also, in some topics in scuba the generally given advice is not very detailed enough.

Hence, legacy blog post number one: bodily functions underwater. In great detail. Too much detail?

Scuba Fitness, Fitness Training and Scuba

Number two: how to combine fitness training and scuba diving. Most advice in this field is merely “stay fit for your scuba adventures”. I go into a bit more detail. This should be helpful for anyone who likes to seriously train and who dives a lot.

I hope this is useful,
