Top 10 in Randall’s Shrimp Goby
My main aim when I stalk small fish with a camera is to achieve one-ness with the fish and to observe and understand the behavior of the animal.
Getting nice images is a lovely side-effect of this spiritual hunt for fish understanding. I enjoy looking at these shots on land, and it brings me joy when other people like the shots too. These other people can be in the same room with me, or thanks to the internets, in completely different far-away places. I recently noticed that my photographs of Randall’s shrimp goby, Amblyeleotris randalli, is doing well online.
It’s nice that my image made it onto the Fishes of Australia site.
And, the mother of all things important on the internets, the almighty Google, has also decided that my photograph of Randall’s shrimp goby is the 8th most view-worthy. Here is the screenshot of a Google image search. Horay! Thank you oh Big Google.
