Underwater Video

A Few Short Ocean Videos

I sometimes get interesting underwater footage which I like but which does not fit in with any of the feature videos I am editing. Hence, I feed them to the internets as brief clips on their own. Here are three recent such short clips:

Here I lap a table coral in time lapse. Curious to see how the small damselfish which live in the coral react to my presence.

This spider crab has evolved to exquisitely to camouflage itself as a piece of Halimeda algae. Plus: can’t miss the opportunity for a silly joke.

This razor wrasse pretends to be a piece of dead floating plant material. I filmed it at 240 fps and slowed it down to super slow mo to resolve the interesting swimming style.
