Creative News March 2023
A few news from my creative endeavors in early 2023. Number one, I am very happy to have finally finished editing my first full-length documentary, called “MUCK: The biology of underwater sandy habitats in the tropics”. The documentary covers all the unusual adaptations of the soft-bottom (no coral reef) organisms seen in Dauin and other muck diving places. Don’t miss this one:
Leviathans
We. Alice Turner and I, are hoping to get funding for a really cool documentary we are planning to produce, based on a paper of mine about the evolution of whales, whale sharks and other animals which feed by filtering the ocean for plankton. Here is the trailer for the project:

I also wrote about scientific diving, and the psychology of doing more than one thing at once underwater, and about an unusual visual illusion which once in a while pops up in underwater photography and lets the viewer experience 3d when there is really none.
