Underwater Video

Good Memories & Creative Videos

I enjoy making nature videos. Most of the time, I shoot small fishes or shrimp in the amazingly biodiverse ocean off Negros Island in the Philippines. There is a great aesthetic component to the animals I film, their small size and the fact that they are suspended in water allows them to evolve shapes which would never work on land and with larger critters. And, sometimes I like to involve family and Friends in the videos. As a result, I get these videos which still hold up underwater-footage-wise after a year or two, and are memories of good times in the last couple of years for me. So, without further ado, enjoy:

Erwin Laughing at Cuttlefish

A very dear memory, from 2 years ago, and some ace muck diving footage on top of it.

Spider Date

A video which tries to be funny but at the same time teaches a lesson about spider reproductive biology:

Hooligan Fishes

“Damsel”fish is a misnomer. The Pomacentridae should be called hooligan fishes in English.
