Wrecks as Marine Life Magnets

Shipwrecks act as artificial reefs, as homes for a large number of fishes and invertebrates. Specifically scorpionfishes, cardinalfishes, hatchetfishes and batfish seem to be attracted to wrecks. Many thanks to Kent & colleagues at Arizona Dive Shop for hosting me to shoot  http://www.arizonadivesubic.com/

You can read more on the fascinating topic on ship wrecks as homes of marine animals in my chapter in Stefan Baehr’s book on wreck diving in the Philippines. It’s available in German now, to be released in English before the end of the year!
